We aim to bring the aromas, the flavors and the benefits of the Hellenic herbs to our table, exactly as we find them in their natural environment. Driven with passion and dedication for what we produce, steering through continuous quests and research, we focus to offer herbs that preserve their authenticity, particular aromas and their gifted healing properties.
This is achieved by the immediate transfer of our handpicked fresh plant material from the farm to the drying chamber nearby and adhering to all the procedures for the proper handling of the dried product. We then "secure" the aroma and benefits of our herbs in special packaging that keeps them fresh until consumption.
In addition to flavors, we emphasize on the cumulative beneficial properties and biological actions of our blends for the human body, to offer, even with consumption of small quantities, a specific nutrition for the protection against diseases while strengthening the immune system.
Our aim and concerns is to offer to the consumer, products of premium quality and unique taste, completely free of pesticides, hormones and chemical additives, in compliance with all the principlesof organic farming.
Beyond our basic concerns, there is also an ultimate goal that we aim to achieve in the long run. We seek to ecologically awaken each consumer for understanding the importance of the sustainability of natural resources. For to protect the biodiversity and all the natural habitats from overexploitation, we need to reduce or stop the unconsciously collection from the wild of these self-grown herbs. Turning to organic cultivations, that respect the natural environment and its inhabitants will offer mutual beneficial purposes in supply chain. It would be a pity to jeopardize the ability of future generations to meet their own needs from NATURE.
Following this guideline, we hope to produce quality products with social and environmental responsibility.
We aim to bring the aromas, flavors and benefits of the herbs of Hellenic land to our table, exactly as they are.
We have made the necessary initial formations, always following the principles of Good Agricultural Practice, in order to successfully cultivate our certified organic plants.
Our 10 acres of (previously uncultivated) farmland is situated on a hill of an ideal location, in Monopigado, northern Greece, just 1.5 km from "Ktima Perek" and 30 km away from the city of Thessaloniki.
ΙΝΟΝΙ(= Οινώνη :Gr) was the nymph of Greek mythology, who had received from god Apollo the unique gift to cure the wounds of humans and heal them by the use of herbs. She was closely related to Paris, since they had a son together, called Corythos. So when Paris was fatally injured, during the Trojan War, he visited INONI himself - according to the most widespread version of the myth - and begged her for help. She, however, refused to heal him because he abandoned her for the beautiful Helen, tragically resulting in his death.
Since then, herbs have been regarded as "the treasure of nature". A treasure that we are called to chase it and protect it as it deserves.
Because of the direct relationship of INONI’s charisma with our vision, we borrowed her name to represent us in our "aromatic" journey, in the acquaintance, the knowledge, the conquest and the exploitation of all the beneficial properties and actions of the wonderful aromatic reserve of nature, the Aromatic Medicinal Plants and Herbs.
